"Growing Up" (also known as TGIS)is now a former youth oriented show aired on GMA Network from 1997 to 1999. Produced by GMA Network and VIVA Television, the show was broadcast as a primetime drama series. The show was reaired in GMA7's late weeknight/early morning block from 2000 to 2001 as part of the network's 50th Year Anniversary celebrations.

Plot

*The cast of the original TGIS show are now depicted as having moved on from high school to college and encounter more serious challenges to their lives. Except for Rain, who intended to study abroad. This time, Jackie returns during her semestral breaks to share bonds with Cris, Mitch and Peachy. Stephanie, a new character is added as the new love interest of JM. She became bestfriends with Mitch.

* In the middle of the show, Jackie, Mitch and Stephanie needs to leave. This time they were replaced by Chloe, Melissa and Bea.
