rail trail located in Chester County,Pennsylvania .It has Convert|3|mi currently open and Convert|15.53|mi of proposed trails. The majority of the trail is a paved surface. The trail is open to most human forms of transportation including,
walking ,running ,biking ,skateboarding , androller skating . The Trail is closed to motor vehicles andhorses . The trail is also closed betweenDusk andDawn .The Struble Trail was named for the late County Commissioner (1976-1980) and longtime Executive Director of the Brandywine Valley Association, teacher and conservationist Robert G. Struble.
The Struble Trail was created from the rail bed of the former Waynesburg Railroad.
The trail head is located on Norwood Road, just north of the
Downingtown Borough onPennsylvania Route 282 .Along the trail there are several historical sites,
