"Terebra circumcincta" is a species of medium-sized, predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Terebridae, the auger snails.

Distribution

This species is found in the western Pacific: in northern Australia, New Caledonia, and the North Island of New Zealand.

hell description

The shell has almost flat-sided whorls, sculptured with punctate deeply incised spiral grooves.

The shell coloration is ivory, with a spiral series of rusty-brown dots.

The shell height is up to 38 mm, and maximum width is 8 mm.
