John Cooke (cricketer)

John Cooke (March 7, 1851 — November 22, 1908) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper who played for Derbyshire during the 1874 season.

Cooke played one game for Derbyshire in which he was out for a duck in the first innings of the game, and scored just six in the second, though Derbyshire were victorious in the match.

Cooke was born and died in Wirksworth at the age of 57.
