Early life
Vance attended Newcastle University, graduating with a degree in civil engineering.
Career
Vance appeared in the British television series, The Bill, and in the Australian television series Stingers and Blue Heelers, before achieving success in the role of Sean Everleigh in All Saints. He appeared in the third and fourth seasons of Prison Break, as James Whistler.[1]
In June 2008, Vance moved to Colombia in order to film the Fox series Mental, but the show ended up being cancelled after only 13 episodes. He guest–starred in an antagonistic role as Mason Gilroy on the USA series Burn Notice for five episodes during the end of season 3. Vance also appeared on Showtime series' fifth season of Dexter as Cole, an articulate personal aide to a popular business man.[2]
Personal life
Vance met his wife in London, after which he moved to Australia (her birthplace) where they were married in 2003. They separated in 2007.[3]
His sister, Dawn Vance, teaches English in England.
