Justine Jones is a fictional character on the TVNZ soap opera "Shortland Street". Justine was originally played by Laurie Foell from 2005 to 2006, but was replaced by Lucy Wigmore in 2007.

Justine is the head surgeon at Shortland Street Hospital and married to Callum McKay together they have a son Hunter, and a daughter Sophie. Justine flirts and had affairs with Chris Warner and Mark Weston. When Callum found out about the affair with Chris they briefly separated and eventually reconciled and things have been good since.

In 2007 she was angered when her then 18 year old son Hunter McKay began a relationship with her husband's work colleague Tess Adamson, a 34 year old solo mother. Justine had a hateful vendetta against Tess.

So far 2008 has been drama free for Justine apart from minor disagreements with her former registrar Dinesh Jivani who has returned to India. Justine was horrified to discover that her husband Callum was having an affair with Martha Riley the DHB appointed auditor. Justine took advantage to of John Grainger's advances and hid the fact that she took pictures of Scott-Spear's Ledger book as evidence to give to the Police. The murder of colleague Craig Valentine has put the safety of Justine and that of her family in danger. Justine was shown where Craig's bag was found and she searched the area and found Craig's syringes and the missing journal. On 10 September, Justine found a bomb attached to a mobile phone in her car. She managed to disarm the bomb to remove the sim card from the phone and swap with her own sim card. The bomber observed her drive away and dial the bomb's phone but nothing happened, soon after there is an explosion which was set off by Justine herself. Husband Callum and the children, Hunter and Sophie at first thought that she had been killed but soon learnt that she faked her death. With the support of Detective Gardiner and new identity Justine left by ship for Australia, while the family must pretend that she is dead. The only other person to learn Justine is alive is colleague Chris Warner who was told by Callum when warning him not to make inquiries about people involved with Scott Spear.
