Jewish Post of New York

The "Jewish Post of New York" is an independent American newspaper.

The "National Jewish Post and Opinion" was established in Indianapolis in 1933 by Gabriel Murrel Cohen. [According to Jewish Post and Opinion, "2007 Remembering JP&O Publisher".] The "Jewish Post of New York" traces its origins as an independent publication to 1974 when the New York edition became a separate publication which has since evolved into the current "Jewish Post". The "Jewish Post" bills itself as a champion of unity between religions and as a supporter of better relations between Jews and African Americans. The Dalai Lama, Coretta Scott King and Russell Simmons have provided their messages of support in the "Jewish Post". [From the Jewish Post of New York, "About Us" section.]
