The company operates the following vehicles:
21 Mercedes Chassis buses built by Designline in 2004. These are numbered 101 - 121. Three of these, 101, 106 - 107, are painted in the blue Northern Star livery.
15 Optare Excels imported from the UK in 2005. The original UK owners of these vehicles was Trent Barton. They are numbered 128 - 143 in the CBS fleet. These buses will gradually be replaced by brand new Zhong Tong SLF vehicles being imported from China. 136 is the first to be decommissioed from timetabled services but remains in the fleet for charter services.
Please note, the were 16 Optares, however, f/n 131 was written off by fire in November 2006. 128 & 135 are based in Timaru at the companies subsidery Timaru Bus Services so only 13 operation units in Christchurch.
