February 23 ,1907 –October 11 ,1965 ) was an Argentine football striker. He was born inBarracas in the city ofBuenos Aires inArgentina . He played the majority of his career withBoca Juniors , he scored 234 goals in 331 games for the club (in all competitions), making him the highest scoring player in the entire history of the club.Cherro won five league titles with Boca, he was the clubs top scorer on five occasions, and the top scorer in the
