William Bury Westall

William Bury Westall

William Bury Westall (February 7, 1834 – 1903) was an English novelist born in Old Accrington, Lancashire, England. Originally a businessman, he later became a journalist and also wrote a large number ofnovels, including "The Old Factory", "Strange Crimes", "Her Ladyship's Secret", of which the "Short Biographical Dictionary of English Literature" from 1910 says "while healthy in tone and interesting, [they] have no literary distinction".
