Taxonomy

The butterfly was previously classified as "Thecla bieti" De Nicéville.Evans,W.H.(1932) The Identification of Indian Butterflies, ser no H41.2, pp 249.]

Range

The butterfly occurs in India from Kulu to Garhwal, Sikkim to Bhutan. Also Tibet and North West Yunnan.
