Paco Arespacochaga was born Enrico Luis Victor Arespacochaga to Manuel Q. Arespacochaga & Arolinda C. Santos in
Manila, Philippines . He is the eldest child of both his parents. At age 5, Paco began attending school at La Salle Greenhills in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. During these formative years, he involved himself heavily in Declamation contests, Extemporaneous Speaking contests, Creative Writing competitions, Drama and Theatre presentations and Debate activities. In his junior year in high school, Paco's music teacher saw in him the ability to write good music. She mentored him and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Though his peers assumed he would take a degree in music, he went on to pursue his bachelor's degree in Film Making atDe La Salle University , also in Manila, Philippines.He has a son, Heaven Enrico Luis Victor Arespacochaga, by his first wife
Geneva Cruz . He has since remarried and is quietly living inLos Angeles, California with his new wife, Tiny Arespacochaga who is expecting the birth of their son in September of 2008.Career
Paco Arespacochaga's passion for the media arts began at age 10. He started joining school plays and declamation constests at La Salle Greenhills. He would eventually become an active participant of La Salle Greenhills' Drama club. Drawing stong encouragement from his parents, he eventually began appearing in TV commercials like Milo, Crest Toothpaste and other family oriented products.
At age 13, he made his first screen debut on the film Campus Beat featuring Philippine matinee idol, Aga Muhlach. Other speaking line movie exposures included Erpat Kong Forgets, Mga Walang Daigdig and Babalik Ka Rin.
At 15 years old, he formed the band, Introvoys, together with childhood friends 3rd-G Cristobal and Jonathan Buencamino. It was the start of his career as a drummer. Eventually, he would begin to write songs songs and be the recognized by the general public as the band's chief songwriter.
He was responsible for penning such hits as "However Whichway", "Will I Survive", "Di Na Ko Aasa Pa", "Calling All Nations", "Line to Heaven", "Kailanman" and "She's the One", among others.
