Richard Tyrell

Rear Admiral Richard Tyrell (1716?-1766) was an Irish officer in the Royal Navy. He was a nephew of Sir Peter Warren, and spent most of his active service in the West Indies, especially in command of the 74-gun HMS "Buckingham". Having resigned command of the Antigua station in 1766, he died of fever aboard HMS "Princess Louisa" en route back to England, and was buried at sea.
