The European Worm Lizard ("Blanus cinereus") is a legless reptile in the family Amphisbaenia.

Location

The "B. cinereus" is a burrowing species, which is common among the amphisbaenia family. Unlike other species it can often be found under logs and rocks, especially after storms. It is found in South West Europe, in and aroundClarifyme|date=October 2008 Spain and Portugal.

Diet

Like other other amphisbaenia the "B. cinereus" it feeds on worms and other small insects.

The "B. cinereus" will grow up to 4-8in (10-20cm).
