Jarmel Hopson and Justin Jones each reached 100 rushing yards as Louisville piled up 296 yards on the ground to defeat the Vipers for the second time in just under a month. Hopson picked up 126 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries and Jones had 100 yards exactly on 11 carries. Although fullback Nick Moore added two more rushing touchdowns for the Bulls, each of Louisville’s first three scores all came through the air. Marcus Warren connected with Tommy Williams from 18 yards out to open the scoring. Warren and Tyler Holland hooked up for two touchdowns to give the Bulls a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter. Chris Clark helped the Vipers break through with their first touchdown in either game against the Bulls with a 14-yard touchdown run, finishing the game with 85 yards on six carries. Andrew Hope accounted for Evansville’s other points with a 5-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. The Vipers ran for 174 yards, but were held to 6 net passing yards in the game.
