On January 28, 2007, the team owners and league officials conducted a meeting in Fort Wayne, Indiana to discuss the status of the league for 2007.

However, the Michigan Twisters have shown interest in continuing their hiatus, due to the health of their owner. And it is currently unknown if the Twisters will return to play in the MCFL. But there have been rumors that they have folded Fact|date=June 2007. The Jackson Bombers are currently on a one year leave of absence. [http://mcfl.org/smf/index.php?topic=2151.0]
