HMS Sea Devil (P244)

HMS Sea Devil (P244)

"For other vessels of this name, see Sea devil."HMS "Sea Devil" was a Royal Navy S-class submarine which was launched January 30, 1945. So far she has been the only ship of the Royal Navy to bear the name "Sea Devil".

She did not see much action as she only came into service as the Second World War was drawing to a close. [ [http://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/3460.html HMS Sea Devil] , Uboot.net] She had a long life though, and by the time she was sold for breaking up, she was the last of the S-class in service with the Royal Navy , though other S-classes remained in service with other navies.

She arrived at Newhaven in February 1966 for breaking up.
