Edward Tsang is a
Computer Science professor at theUniversity of Essex . He holds a first degree inBusiness Administration (major in Finance) from theChinese University of Hong Kong (1977), and anMSc andPhD inComputer Science from theUniversity of Essex (1983 and 1987). Prior to his PhD studies, he served for fiveyears in various positions in the commercial sector in Hong Kong.Edward Tsang was the co-founder and Deputy Director (2003-2008) of [http://www.essex.ac.uk/ccfea Centre for Computational Finance and Economic Agents] (CCFEA) at [http://www.essex.ac.uk/ University of Essex] .CCFEA is an interdisciplinaryresearch centre, which applies artificial intelligence methods to problems infinance and economics.
Edward Tsang is also a founding member and Deputy Director (2008-) of the [http://cci.essex.ac.uk/ Centre for Computational Intelligence] at [http://www.essex.ac.uk/ University of Essex] ,which specializes in applications of computational intelligence techniques.
