The Antelope Valley College District Police Department is a full service police department. All police officers are required to complete a basic
police academy . The police officers have the same duties, responsibilities and authority as anymunicipal ,county , orstate law enforcement agency .The Antelope Valley College District Police Department also employs security officers. Each of these officers are required to complete a course of training mandated by the State of California and BSIS. Security officers are responsible for parking enforcement, building security and student escorts.
