Tropic, Florida

Tropic was an unincorporated area in Brevard County, Florida, United States. [cite book | author = DeLorme |title = Florida Atlas and Gazetteer | publisher = DeLorme Publishing Company | year = 1989] It was the southernmost area on Merritt Island before its identity was absorbed into the census-designated place of Merritt Island during the Space Age. This portion of Merritt Island is served by Brevard County Road 3 (Tropical Trail) and the Mather's Bridge.
