Shamasuddin

Shamasuddin (full name Khwaja Shams-Ud-Din (1922 – 1999) was the Chief Minister of Kashmir for a few months during 1963–1964. It was during his administration that the Prophet's Relic was stolen from the Harzratbal mosque. This created a crisis which ultimately led to him being replaced.
