The rail journey from Ben Gurion Airport to Tel Aviv takes about fifteen minutes and costs 13 NIS. In the opposite direction, the line from the station goes southeast to Modi'in. Over a million passengers used the line in 2005. The station will also be a regular stop on the future Tel Aviv to
Jerusalem high-speed rail line which is currently under construction. The Modi'in spur was opened fully in April 2008, but the Jerusalem link will only be operative in 2012.
