Aratone is a Seattle based band consisting of Josh Tornquist and Omne. Their music is characterized as downtempo electronica with heavy influences of dub, blues, drum & bass, and ambient. All of their music is constructed with their own instrumentation fused with spaced out vocal stabs and dubbed down beats. [http://www.myspace.com/aratone Aratone] is currently recording on their own [http://www.meandimusic.com Me&I] record label.

Several tracks from their 2004 album Lemonade Electrica have appeared in ABC's Commander in Chief series and NBC's "Windfall" series.

In 2004, they released Lemonade Electrica on their Me&I label. It had an ethereal downtempo feel, with a heavy dose of dub and ambient guitars.

In 2005 they released the Epidemic EP, which crossed genres into hip-hop. The album featured popular indie guest MC's on it, including [http://www.myspace.com/maylaysparks Maylay Sparks] , Chief Kamachi, Aphillyation, Gos and [http://profile.myspace.com/djjayski DJ Jay-Ski] of Skratch Makaniks.

They are currently working on their new full length album titled "When your Lights are Flashing". It is due out fall 2007.
