History

Geography

Lake Galena receives its water from a watershed about 10,340 acres (42 km²) in size and is located at an elevation of about 715 feet (218 m).Gnis|1692251|Galena Lake. Retrieved June 24, 2007] It encompasses an area of 220 acres (89 ha) and with a 7 miles (11.3 km) shoreline. It is located within a private development of Galena known as the Galena Territory.

Use

The lake is mostly used for recreational purposes including boating and fishing.
