Tim McCann (footballer)

Timothy McCann is a Northern Irish semi-professional footballer, who played on the wing. His career included spells playing for Cliftonville, Glentoran, Ballymena [ [http://www.geocities.com/bufcplayers/s_mccann-tim Ballymena fan page] , 2004] , Linfield F.C. ["The Sun", 4 January 2006, p51: "It'all Rover as Lins get Tim"] , and Sligo Rovers [ [http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/kind=2/newsid=315191.html Glentoran make McCann switch] , UEFA.com, 7 July 2005] . He retired in December 2007 after suffering a broken knee ligament ["The Sun", 6 December 2007, p80: "Tim bows out"] .
