* Third in the 1969Brownlow Medal George Bisset (born 10 March 1943) is a former
Australian rules footballer. He played as a rover and spent most of his career at Footscray.Bisset was one vote away from winning the Brownlow Medal in 1969. Bisset had been reported during a round 14 clash against Carlton and as a result was not eligible to receive votes for that match. He had managed over 30 disposals and kicked 6 goals so was likely to have been in contention for votes.
He is a half forward in Footscray's official Team of the Century.
