"After the Show" is the eighth episode from the of the popular American forensic crime drama "", which is set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Plot Summary

The center of attention for the Las Vegas media is a missing model who aspired to become a showgirl. When a strange 911 call comes in, Catherine is sure she has found the man responsible and takes over the case from Sara and Nick, who both hoped they could use this high profile case to get a promotion.

When they bring the man(played by Martin Donovan) in, he remains very quiet. Eventually, he reveals that he will only speak to Catherine ("The pretty one."). The man leads them out to rock outcropping, but instead of being helpful and answering Catherine's questions, comments on her hair and looks, saying she must've once been a model. Meanwhile, Sara is angry with Grissom for allowing the suspect to pick his criminalist. Grissom calms her down, explaining that they all want the same thing, and Catherine may have a way in.

*This episode is based on an actual case, the murder of Linda Sobek. The case was solved by Elizabeth Devine who is the consulting producer of the show and a former CSI.
*Gary Dourdan does not appear in this episode.
