Charles Alfred Payton

Sir Charles Alfred Payton (November 12, 1843-March 11, 1926) was British Consul to Morocco in Mogador on and off between March 16, 1880 and 1893.

British Consul to Italy in Genoa from 1893 till 1896, Payton was one of the founding members of Genoa Cricket & Athletics (later 'Football') Club on September 7, 1893.
