Selina Hakki

Selina Hakki

Selina Hakki (born 1967) was the first woman in the UK to be convicted of using the "rape drug" Rohypnol on men.

A jury at Middlesex Guildhall Crown Court reached its verdict in December 2004, finding her guilty of using the drug on banker Volker Vogler and film director Alexander Jovy and stealing thousands of pounds worth of property. Prosecutors accused Hakki of promising sex to gain access to her victims' homes, but she refused to testify or give evidence.
