Lindenhurst is a railroad station on the Babylon Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is officially located at Wellwood Avenue(Suffolk CR 3) and East Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst, New York.

Lindenhurst Station is typical of the elevated Babylon Branch trains that were rebuilt during the mid-to-late 20th Century. It was originally built by the South Side Railroad of Long Island on October 28, 1867 as "Wellwood Station." It was renamed "Breslau Station" at some point, then renamed "Lindenhurst Station" in 1891. The station was burned down on January 23, 1901. The second station was built in 1902. The station was closed and replaced with a third station, an elevated structure in 1968 as part of the LIRR's grade elimination project, and the previous station was moved to a private location and restored as a museum 1971. In the early 21st Century, the station had a major remodeling project, along with others on the Babylon Branch.
