Jenna Torres

Jenna Torres

Jenna Torres is the coauthor, along with her husband Bob Torres, of "Vegan Freak: Being Vegan in a Non-Vegan World". Bob and Jenna Torres produce a podcast about animal rights and veganism from their home in upstate New York. The podcast features the Torres' commentary, with the occasional guest, on vegan issues and culture. Torres currently is a visiting assistant professor of Spanish at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, USA.

While she is adept at turning out excellent vegan cookies, cakes, brownies, and other such baked goods, she and her husband have recently adopted a more healthy lifestyle.

Torres is also a general partner for [http://tofuhoundpress.com Tofu Hound Press] , a small publishing company that releases a few books per year relating to veganism and animal rights.

Education

Torres has a BA and BS from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D from Cornell University.
