In 2004, the College of Biomedical Science launched a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program in conjunction with the
University of Miami 'sLeonard Miller School of Medicine . Known as the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine at FAU (UMMSM@FAU), the collaboration established a regional campus of the Miller School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic's Boca Raton campus.
