Emilio José Viqueira Moure, Viqueira (born 20 September 1974 in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia), is a Spanish footballer, who currently plays for Xerez CD of the Spanish second division. His usual position is central midfielder.

Club career

A skilled playmaker, Viqueira debuted professionally with local Deportivo de La Coruña, appearing in 26 games trough two seasons (19 in 1995-96, as "Depor" finished ninth). After an abroad stint with lowly "Portuguese Liga" side S.C. Campomaiorense, he returned to La Coruña, playing another season with the B-team.

After two seasons with Xerez CD, gaining promotion to the second level in 2000-01, Viqueira switched to neighbours Recreativo de Huelva, where he would experience his most steady and fruitful period. After 32 "La Liga" matches in 2002-03, with relegation. Viqueira added a further 40 three seasons later (with 3 goals), as "Recre" returned to the top flight.

In July 2007, he joined Levante UD but, as many other players, would leave the side in the January transfer window, due to the Valencia side's severe financial crisis, joining old acquaintance Xerez CD on loan, until the rest of the season.
