- Lattanzio Mainardi
Lattanzio Mainardi (fl. 16th century) was an Italian painter of the late-
Renaissance or Mannerist period. Originally from or nearBologna and referred to as "Lattanzio Bolognese" byGiovanni Baglione . He painted some of the frescoes for the Chapel ofPope Sixtus V inSanta Maria Maggiore , including the figures of "Tamar, Fares, Zara, Solomon y Boaz". Died at the age of 37 inViterbo , while returning to Bologna.References
