- Stagecoach, Colorado
Stagecoach, Colorado opened to the public in 1971. Developed by the Woodmoor Company of
Colorado Springs, Colorado . Although full of great terrain and on the north side of the mountain, financial problems of the developer nixed the project after its second season of skiing. Now considered a "lost" ski hill, rumors of reopening are common, but are always denied by the Wittemeyer Family who have owned the property for over twenty five years.
