Mario Pino (geologist)

Mario Pino is a Chilean geologist who works in the geology department of Universidad Austral de Chile in Valdivia. He has been involved in the excavations at Monte Verde in Chile where human remains estimated to be about 12,500 years old have been found, challenging the Clovis theory of the first human arrival in the Americas.
