Ripe Digital Entertainment

Ripe Digital Entertainment (RDE) is an on-demand digital entertainment company with television networks. RDE was founded byt CEO Ryan Magnussen. Launched in 2005, RDE is credited with developing the first multi-platform television on demand network, offering instant access to men’s lifestyle entertainment through Cable On demand, broadband and mobile outlets. RDE programming consists of original and packaged short-form video content ranging from five to fifteen minutes in length.

Networks

Ripe’s networks-- Ripe TV, Octane TV and Flow TV are delivered free over multiple platforms (cable VOD, broadband, and mobile). RipeTV, launched in October 2005, as the first multi-platform lifestyle On Demand network featuring interest-based content for men including beautiful women, sports, comedy and antics programming that men like and seek. OctaneTV, which launched in August 2006, is geared toward automotive enthusiasts and motorized sports fanatics. FlowTV which launched April 2007 is a hip hop lifestyle network geared toward adults 18-34.

Distribution

RDE networks reach 92 million subscribers through various distribution partners. Content distribution partners include Comcast, Time Warner, Insight Communications, MediaCom, Verizon Fios for On Demand, internet syndication through AOL, Google, and Yahoo and mobile content through the websites, Helio and Sprint. Montreal based Distraction Formats distributes RDE's extensive library, branded channel and formats around the globe.

Programming

RDE networks can be accessed through local cable provider Video On Demand channels, you can find RipeTV and OctaneTV in the Cutting Edge section of the menu and FlowTV in the MUSIC section , broadband portals [http://ripetv.com RipeTV] , [http://octanetv.com OctaneTV] , [http://flow.tv FlowTV] , and mobile devices for streaming and download. RipeTV programs include: Sexy & Single, [http://stuff4dudes.com Stuff4Dudes] , Wild Girls Vegas and Hollywood Burn. Octane TV originals include: Sexy Road Test, Crashed, Zig, Zag and Hot Import Nights. Flow TV orginials include VIP Lounge, Flow Live and Flowlicious.

RDE Networks formats, programs formats, and 2500 Episodes of male 18-34 targeted programing is distributed worldwide outside the USA by Distraction Formats.
