Evgeny Agrest (born 15 August 1966, Vitebsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian–Swedish chess grandmaster.

In 1994, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he emigrated to Sweden.

Awarded the GM title in 1997.

He was four-time Swedish Champion (1998, 2001, 2003, and 2004), and thrice Nordic Champion (2001 jointly with Artur Kogan [ [http://www.fide.com/ratings/trarc.phtml?event16=245&codt=1 Nordic Championships 2001] ] , 2003 jointly with Curt Hansen [ [http://www.fide.com/ratings/trarc.phtml?event16=26&codt=10 Nordisk Mesterskab 2003] ] , and 2005 [ [http://www.fide.com/ratings/trarc.phtml?event16=0976&codt=18 Nordic Championship 2005] ] ).
