Magiboards

Magiboards Ltd is a UK based manufacturer of presentation & display products. The company was established in 1966 and is one of the oldest manufacturers of whiteboards. The founder of Magiboards, Albert Stallion, worked for an American manufacturer of Vitreous Enamel Steel (Alliance). This material was used among other applications for architectural cladding and when Albert looked at the properties of the material he thought it might be a good material to use as a dry wipe whiteboard surface: after all, marker ink would not penetrate the surface, it was scratch resistant and would remain white for life. When Albert raised this idea he was laughed away, so he decided to turn it into a whiteboard himself and this is how Magiboards saw the light and invented the vitreous enamel steel or porcelain whiteboard. Today, this is still the highest quality and most widely sold whiteboard world wide, even though cheaper and lower grade surfaces have made their appearance over the years. Magiboards is still a leading supplier of presentation & display products and enamel steel boards are still one of their core products, because they give a life time guarantee on these.
