- Open Source Beer Project
-
The Open Source Beer Project is a community effort spearheaded by Flying Dog Brewery to develop a beer using open source methodology. While Free Beer (formerly known as Vores Øl) was the first open source beer and OpenCola preceded it as an open source beverage, the Open Source Beer Project aims to produce the first commercially available open source beer. However, at least one other group, Brewtopia, has claimed to have produced open source beer commercially, and Free Beer has been brewed by multiple breweries. [1][2][3]
