Tooheys Extra Dry, commonly referred to as a Ted (Tooheys Extra Dry) , is a crisp-tasting dry style lager. It is sold throughout Australia, though only available in bottles and occasionally cans, until late 2005 when it began to be sold on tap. Tooheys Extra Dry sponsors the The Big Day Out and many surfing events around Australia. It is very popular among young people who have begun to develop a taste for beer, as its light and sweet taste allows for very easy and fast consumption; however the beer is often shunned by older people and those who have a more 'sophisticated' palette for beer as Tooheys Extra Dry is considered to be brewed for the purposes of sales and not taste and thus is of low quality.

Tooheys Extra Dry are well known throughout Australia due to their obscure television advertisements which include a walking tongue, fighting whitegoods and a HarvesTED campaign.

Tooheys Extra Dry contains 5.0% Alcohol/Volume.
