WACV (1170 AM) is a news/talk radio station in the Montgomery, Alabama, market owned by Bluewater Broadcasting Company, LLC.

Personalities

"Viewpoint", one of the state's longest-running political call-in shows, is hosted by Dan Morris, a former adviser to President Ronald Reagan, and Mark Montiel, a former judge and attorney. Both Morris and Montiel were frequent guest hosts of the Don Markwell show in its final year (2007-2008). "Viewpoint" is among the highest-rated talk shows in Montgomery and is the first stop for many local and regional leaders.Fact|date=September 2008

Leslie Bailey has been a local restaurant owner, cooking show host, and musical performer for many years, but is best known as a morning radio personality. Her daily show is called, "Hey Leslie What's Happening".Fact|date=September 2008

Other programming on WACV includes national syndicated talk hosts Laura Ingraham and Jerry Doyle.

On weekends, there is additional locally produced programming from Our Lady Queen of Mercy Catholic Church, Capitol Heights Baptist Church, Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church, The "Farm and Home" Show, a business program with Chris and Shea Isbell, and a Saturday talk show with local public school teacher Michael Bird.Fact|date=September 2008

In February 2008, WACV acquired the rights to broadcast the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. WACV is also home to UAB Blazers football broadcasts.
