NRK Alltid nyheter is a Norwegian news radio channel operated by the government-owned Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), broadcasting news 24 hours a day.

From midnight to 6:00 AM, NRK Alltid Nyheter does not produce its own content, but transmits the BBC World Service. NRK Alltid Nyheter cooperates closely with the BBC and other EBU partners.

The channel was launched on April 14 1997, as the first all digital news channel in the world (DAB/Eureka 147) using the same production model as ABC News Radio in Sydney, Australia. NRK Alltid Nyheter is headquartered at the NRK in Oslo.
