Morley High School is a co-educational
comprehensive school for pupils ages 11-16 inWest Yorkshire ,England . Morley is situated 5 miles south-west ofLeeds with a population of about 50,000. The school has approximately 1,400 students enrolled. Thehead teacher is John Townsley. The school is one of only four in the UK to have been awarded the Investors in People Champions Award.Historical background

grammar school in 1907, becoming a mixed comprehensive in 1975.Performance
In July 2001 the
Arts Council awarded the school the Artsmark at the Silver level. The school was one of only three inLeeds and 13 inYorkshire to be so recognised.
