Threepence (Australian)

The Australian Threepence was a coin used in the Commonwealth of Australia prior to decimalization. The coin was first minted in 1910 and stopped being minted in 1964, excluding 1913, 1929 - 1933 inclusive, 1945 and 1946. When decimalization happened on the 14, February, 1966, the coin was equal to 2½¢.

1953-1964 - Elizabeth II by Mrs Mary Gillick.

Reverses
