Edwyn Burnaby (29 September 1798 – 18 July 1867) was an English landowner, of Baggrave Hall, Leicestershire,["Gentleman's Magazine", September 1867, p. 398] a Justice of the Peace, Deputy Lieutenant, and High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1864. He also succeeded his father in the Court post of Gentleman of the Privy chamber.][Burke, John, "History of The Commoners of Great Britain and Ireland", London, 1838, vol.iv, pps702-4] ]Edwyn was the eldest son of Edwyn Andrew Burnaby snr., (d. 1825) (whom he succeeded on October 1, 1825), and his wife Mary, daughter & heiress of the Reverend William Browne and wife Mary Adcock. He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford,[ and the Leicestershire Yeomanry.]On August 29 1829, he married Anne Caroline Salisbury, daughter of Thomas Salisbury, by Frances, daughter of Francis Webb.
