1995 Daytona 500

The Daytona 500 was held February 19 at Daytona International Speedway. Dale Jarrett won the pole. Sterling Marlin's win set a new record with Marlin being the only driver to have his first two cup wins at the Daytona 500. Also, Sterling Marlin became 1 of only 3 drivers who have won back to back Daytona 500's, the other two being Richard Petty and Cale Yarborough. This race was interrupted for 2 hours due to rain on Lap 71.
