Roy North

Roy North played in "Basil Brush" as Mr Roy. He was a well known Hull City fan also born in Hull and occasionally he would wear a Hull City shirt on the TV. He was on the show for series 8-11 in the years of 1973-76. He'd been appearing in the London West End production of "Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" when he got the call to audition to replace Derek Fowlds as the fox's companion. After splitting from Basil, he hosted the ITV children's music show "Get It Together" from 1976 to 1982. In 2004 he guest starred in the "Doctor Who" audio adventure "The Axis of Insanity".
