"Anonimo Venziano" (American title: "The Anonymous Venetian") is a 1970 Italian award winning drama film written and directed by the famous Italian actor Enrico Maria Salerno on his debut as film director. It starred American Tony Musante and Brazilian beauty Florinda Bolkan.
The film had a great success, specially for its romanticism and its score, composed by Stelvio Cipriani.
Later, Ornella Vanoni sung a song named "Anonimo Veneziano" with the central theme of the film.
Plot
A Venetian musician is affected by an incurable disease. He has got a rendezvous with his ex-wife, who is now living with another man in another city. They walk across the streets and channels of Venice. They remember the happy times when were together. He has to play a found classic concert piece in a theatre. She finally realizes that she is still in love with him.
