Bangkok, ThailandHis Royal Highness Prince Chitcharoen, the Prince Narisara Nuvativongse (Thai: สมเด็จพระเจ้าบรมวงศ์เธอ เจ้าฟ้ากรมพระยานริศรานุวัดติวงศ์, born as "พระเจ้าลูกยาเธอ พระองค์เจ้าจิตรเจริญ") (Born: 28 April 1863, Died 10 March 1947) was the son of Mongkut, King Rama IV of Siam and Princess Consort Pannarai. He was the member of the Siamese Royal Family (later Thailand). He created The House of Chitrabhongse (ราชสกุลจิตรพงศ์), which is the descent family from the Chakri Dynasty. He was given the rank The Prince Narisara Nuvativongse by his elder brother, King Chulalongkorn of Siam (originally as "Krom Khun").
Prince Chithcaroen was called the Divine Guru, Siam's Great Artist. Among his artistic creations is Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple. The image of Indra riding Erawan on the seal of Bangkok is also his work. His centennial in 1963 was associated by UNESCO.
